Indie Vintage Bridal Portraits in San Diego, CA

Kasey and Jeremy were married on January 2nd, 2013. I sort of unintentionally planned their wedding. It started out as a mere intention to help out with things where I could, and turned into me finding the venue, designing the invitations (& the welcome cards above,) and managing the decorations and all setup/takedown.

Oh, and I took their wedding photos.
These were shot on January 2nd, 2013 in San Diego, California with a Canon 5d Mark II and 50mm f/1.4 lens. I was brand new to both the camera and the lens. I wish I'd been more familiar with them at the time, because I didn't get as many usable shots as I would have liked. I was having issues with finding the center point of focus with the brand new lens, as well as having the ISO up WAY too high on like, 90% of the images which resulted in graininess.

Just because you can go up to ISO 6400, Daryl, doesn't mean you ever should.
