The Ice Queen

Believe it or not, it was Disney's recent movie "Frozen" that loosely inspired this take on a bridal shoot. I was so pleased to see a Disney movie that featured such strong female characters, and I thought it would be fun to create images that showcased the strong, regal, ethereal qualities of one of the movie's protagonists and translated those ideas into bridal fashion. The dress was a no-brainer: The silver-blue lace was the perfect combination of delicate and different, perfect for a winter bride.  Brides are not just limited to white dresses!  Her flower crown offered a dramatic pop of pink that complemented the blue and added to her regal appearance.  Overall this was a fun, creative, inspiring experience I was glad to be a part of!

  1. What is this place? I know Utah is magical for weather, but it looks glacial. Did you know that her eyes would pop like that, too? I have such a talented sister-in-law!

    1. Thanks so much Anne-Marie! No glaciers here, these are actually man made ice structures! http://icecastles.com
